GradCycle — marketplace for student reuse
GradCycle is a UK student marketplace for reusable goods. The turning point was making the offer clear enough to put in front of students. The work was positioning, interface direction, and a site structure.
Outcome
TODO: confirmed outcome not on file.
The decision
A student marketplace succeeds when trust, convenience, and value are explicit. The strategic choice was to make reuse feel practical, not moralistic.
What we clarified
Positioning, wireframes, and interface direction had to serve one proposition: easy reuse between students.
Brand and UX were treated as one system: language, hierarchy, and actions had to agree.
Why it matters now
Early-stage marketplaces win when founders choose a narrow first audience and make the exchange feel safe.
